At Home Workshop Season 3

AT HOME

SEASON THREE

January 6th – 27th, 2027

I’m a good photographer, but…

Maybe there’s something missing. Not necessarily from the photographs themselves, the work is good, clients are happy, the galleries are beautiful and the camera settings are practically second nature.

But maybe the photographs are starting to feel a little too familiar? Maybe there’s an entirely different direction you’d love to explore but haven’t figured out how to get there. Maybe the creative ideas aren’t the problem; it’s knowing what to do with them, how to execute them, or how to convince a client to trust the vision.

Or maybe there’s another photographer’s work that makes you wonder what they’re doing differently. Their colors, their editing, the way they direct people, the feeling they create.

I’ve been photographing professionally since 2012, and one of the things I love most about this career is that there’s always something else to learn, experiment with, or get better at.

I don’t believe becoming a good photographer means we’ve arrived at the finish line. In fact, I think that’s when things start getting really interesting – when we realize we want MORE!

Welcome to Season Three of AT HOME.

A four-week photography experience where I’m opening up my creative process, editing workflow, real client sessions, business practices, and the decisions that happen long before I ever pick up my camera.

And this season, we’re taking everything we’re learning outside the computer screen, too.

We meet every Wednesday in January online together from 12-2pm CST.

Over the course of four weeks, we’ll meet live as a group, open up actual galleries, discuss the photographs that worked (and the ones that didn’t), and walk through the decisions that shape an entire session.

I’m going to show how I approach concepts, direct people, work with wardrobe and locations, use light, and turn those completely random ideas floating around in my head into something tangible.

And yes, we’re getting into the editing.

I’ll open up Lightroom and walk through my actual workflow. The colors, the tones, the decisions, the adjustments, and how I approach editing different lighting situations while maintaining a recognizable body of work.

BONUS: Three hours. Just us.

Every participant also receives an included three-hour private 1:1 mentorship session with me [valued at $800 separately], outside of our regularly scheduled group calls!

This is time devoted entirely to the individual photographer. Maybe that means dissecting a portfolio, working through editing challenges, reviewing an entire gallery, discussing business and marketing, or building a concept for a session they’ve been dreaming about.

We can use that time to focus on what would be most valuable for their particular stage of photography.

Because while everyone will be learning together, not everyone needs the same things!

ALSO included is in-person content day on January 30th!

One of the experiences I’m always most excited about is our included full-day, in-person creative session.

Not a quick styled shoot where everyone takes turns photographing the same pose. I’m talking about a thoughtfully developed, highly creative experience where we get to work through actual concepts, experiment with direction, make decisions in real time, and create photographs that push us somewhere new.

The kind of day that reminds us how much fun making photographs can be, participants will have an opportunity to experience that creative process in person.

What is included and investment:

Before committing, there’s an opportunity to book a complimentary 15-minute strategy call with me. We can talk about where things currently stand, what feels challenging, what you’re hoping to learn, and whether this workshop is genuinely a good fit for the next stage of your photography.

No pressure to make a decision on the call.

Just a conversation.

Intimacy has the ability to show up in every part of your life. From the conversations you have, to the hugs you share, to the unspoken energy. It’s there and it’s my favorite place to be. I seek to be in the wave of intimacy when my hand and eye meet another.  I seek to be in the intimate adage of verbal and physical transactions.
