Single Dad, Memories Forever

circa 1986..

If you grew up in the 80s I am pretty sure you had a dad similar to mine…we didn’t spend money on going anywhere besides our backyard. The cheapest, most simplest times were the best times.

I met this single dad while being here in Oklahoma and his kind, hippy heart reminded me of home. He loves his girls the way my dad loved me. He would sip on Budweiser and enjoy every single moment in the sun that we could soak up together. I have yet to meet a kindred spirit to my father until I met Wes and his short shorts.

Intimacy has the ability to show up in every part of your life. From the conversations you have, to the hugs you share, to the unspoken energy. It’s there and it’s my favorite place to be. I seek to be in the wave of intimacy when my hand and eye meet another.  I seek to be in the intimate adage of verbal and physical transactions.
