For the past several years, I’ve gathered women in beautiful places around the world through Reverie. While photography has always been the thing that brings us together, what happens during these few days is about so much more than photographs. It’s about stepping away from our everyday responsibilities, reconnecting with our creativity, and allowing ourselves to experience beauty without feeling the need to constantly produce, perform, or keep up.
This February, we’re heading to Kauai.
There is something about this island that feels different. While Maui feels vibrant and energetic, Kauai feels quieter, wilder, and deeply connected to nature. The mountains seem to rise straight out of the ocean, the roads wind through jungles and small towns, and everywhere you look there is a sense that life moves a little slower here. It’s the kind of place that makes you roll down the windows and remember what it feels like to be fully present.
Over three days, we’ll share a beautiful home, gather for meals and conversation, explore Kauai and photograph three intentionally designed sessions. There will be space to create. Space to rest. Space to wander. Space to have the kinds of conversations that only seem to happen when women leave their normal routines behind and find themselves somewhere extraordinary together.
I’ve found that the most meaningful part of these retreats is the reminder that creativity isn’t something we have to force. More often, it returns when we give ourselves permission to have fun, slow down and reset.
If you’ve been craving inspiration, adventure, meaningful connection, or simply a few days that feel entirely your own, I hope you’ll join us. My vision for Reverie has always been to create experiences that nourish both the artist and the woman behind the camera, and I can’t imagine a more fitting place for that than Kauai.

The house. We’re staying in a beautiful home in Princeville, on Kauai’s North Shore, with unobstructed views of the mountains. It’s tucked into one of the most stunning corners of the island.
It sleeps 8, so this is a shared space: we’ll be sharing beds and bedrooms. But honestly? We’ll be there for morning coffee, to shower, and to sleep. The island is where we’ll actually live for these few days.
And waking up to those mountains, falling asleep to that North Shore quiet… not a bad place to come home to.

DEPOSIT: $500 secures your spot. The remaining balance of $3,000 will be broken into payments leading up to February 1st, 2027.
DETAILS: I ask that you arrive the night before (LIH — Lihue airport) so you’re rested from the long travel day and ready to go on the morning of the 16th. We’ll have a private FB group where you can coordinate the night-before hotel or stay if you’d like. Flights and dining out are not included. What is included: your Airbnb stay from the 16th–19th, transportation for the group around the island, my favorite snacks and drinks stocked at the house, three styled sessions, and all of me — my eye, my heart, and everything I know.
