Hair stylists are artists.
I envisioned her branding session to be authentic and genuine to her. After sitting in her chair multiple times, I knew she encapsulated more than just a clean cut pose in the swivel chair with sheers portrait. There needed to be depth, feeling.. the feeling that you knew she has worked her ass to get to where she is.
This is her.

Special thank you to Galaxy Antique Furniture Store in North Little Rock, AR for allowing us to use their space for this shoot.
It’s the lipstick on the cigarette for me here.
The final picture below that I am sharing from this session is framed in her salon, behind her chair. I hope it reminds her and all her clients that beauty is in all of us and nothing in life is perfect, it’s art.
